The West Kootenay- Boundary Community Investment Co-op is a member-owned association that allows its members to invest into local businesses with the purpose of promoting economic, social, environmental and community impacts. We believe in doing good while making a profit.
If you feel that your business or organization promotes positive economic, social, environmental and community impacts and is looking for funding, we encourage you to apply. All applications will be reviewed by the Investment Committee.
Our funding is structured as a loan and must be repaid. Rates and amortization periods vary depending on the specifics of the loan application.
Normally, our loans range in amounts from $10,000 to $25,000. However, in some cases, we may consider larger amounts up to $50,000.
Please note: As our organization is member-run on a volunteer basis, please give us up to a week to follow up with you regarding your application.
